Local plant sites avoid the long-distance transport of waste tyres, resulting in enormous CO2 savings. Because a truck full of waste tyres is completely loaded in terms of volume. As to the weight, however, the truck can’t tap its full capacity and is consequently very unprofitable. In various countries, the Actana-Pyrolysis-System works very economically as local facility concept. The final treatment (refining) of the GCP* should preferably be made in a central logistics centre as then it can be designed to be more economical.
